How?

One-to-One:

At FTCC, we know that the quality of the relationship with our clients is fundamental to attaining meaningful outcomes. The relationship which develops between two people is of primary importance more so than theoretical orientation. One to one work is carried out in a collaborative manner within a safe and non-judgemental environment. We are compassionate and accepting in our approach and always respectful of individual beliefs and values. We view both therapy and life coaching as a joint undertaking based on mutual trust and conduct regular check-ins for client feedback in order to ensure accountability.

Groups:

FTCC has a varied programme of group mental health and well-being services. These range from peer support to well-being activities. Peer support groups involve at least one therapist working with several individuals who are experiencing similar issues. These groups aim to provide a regular, safe space where individuals can meet, talk and support one another. We also offer meditation groups and art-based groups where individuals can use the creative process to express emotion.

Events:

Our events programme involves leading thinkers in the field speaking about topical subjects, from the therapeutic process to coping with bereavement. At FTCC, we want to normalise the conversation around mental health. Our interactive mental health and well-being workshops are aimed at challenging mental health stigmas and sharing professional insights. We also hold open, ad hoc social events for anyone who would like to get together and discuss life's questions over a few drinks.
