Clients come to Farah Therapy Centre for anxiety, stress, depression among many other issues.

Farah Therapy Centre clients find their way here for three reasons. We wanted to illustrate these to show how they fit with our range of services, to make what we do here clearer for people visiting our pages.

Therapy

Often people spend their first sessions disclosing issues they are experiencing about the way they function in the world, and their presence in the now. Maybe they are not feeling fully seen and heard, and it is our heartfelt intention as a business to ensure that our clients experience both, over the course of their work with us and beyond. Sometimes clients know about the difficulties of their experience, but are not sure what is behind these issues. Gently we begin to rend the veils together, revealing clarity about the things in their lives that have affected them, and understanding fully from every side what the impact of their life experiences has been, traumatic or otherwise, in their full dimensionality. Other times people arrive at Farah Therapy Centre fully conscious about what has happened in their life, and clear about how this has made them feel, but need help processing these feelings so they can be more fully alive in the here and now, and enriched in both awareness and self-knowledge. The resolution of these experiences through working with our team of therapists can lead to the alleviation of addiction, co-dependency and negative or abusive patterns in relationships, as well as recovery from a wide range of trauma. Most particularly we support people in finding ways of processing stigmas around mental health and finding new perspectives, and recovery from growing up, or relating into, over-controlling environments and family systems.

Coaching

In contrast to the above, people also find their way to Farah Therapy Centre because their experience of the moment is being clouded by a lack of support with planning for the future, and using the present in the right way. Getting everything prioritised and in the right order is key to successfully navigating life. Time management and prioritisation, relationship guidance and support with money matters, as well as spiritual inquiry and visions and goals, form the basis for our future-focussed coaching services. Often clients are coming back from something and planning their re-entry into society or the marketplace, and are looking for a third space away from home and work to think strategically and intuitively, as they build their professional identity. Learning to present oneself in a way that meets the demands of the marketplace without compromising who we really are, is a life’s journey and one we are honoured, privileged and passionate to support people with. Perhaps they are working their way up the corporate ladder, or making a switch into entrepreneurial life… or establishing a start up for the first time. When people make these big transitions, inevitably they need support in processing their emotional experience and the inevitable contractions that come after expansions. Helping clients to channel their feelings creatively and constructively (as opposed to destructively!) is a big part of what we do, as people move out into the world in new, soulful and courageous ways.

Both therapy and coaching

Many times people find us because of they are in some kind of intense moment in their lives – an inflection point, a turning in the road or perhaps dealing with the end of a relationship of bereavement of some kind. Faced with uncertainty and new paradigms, they need comprehensive internal and external support, and use the Farah Therapy Centre coaching and therapy teams to support their career, operations and relational and family life. Working together we design a programme of support for clients that gives them everything they need in terms of internal, emotional and spiritual backing, as well as helping them lead their projects with integrity, flair and passion… leading to the realisation of their goals and visions. Going deep with a client along these lines means we act as an extension of their team, and guarantees a high level of support in all areas of their life.
